Opportunities for Postgraduate Studies for pianists at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (UK)

The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is one of Europe’s leading conservatories and the UK’s top conservatoire for Music (The Times/Sunday Times University League Table 2020), and the School of Keyboard Studies at the RNCM has a fantastic reputation for successfully developing the individual talents of young pianists. Our distinguished alumni include world renowned pianists Stephen Hough and Peter Donohoe (top prize winner of the 1982 Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition). Graduates from the Moscow Conservatory, such as Maxim Kinasov, Anna Denisova and Alexander Panfilov, have studied at the RNCM. Alexander Panfilov since went on to win 15 prizes in international piano competitions.
We are now accepting applications for 2021 entry from undergraduate pianists at the Moscow Conservatory for our postgraduate programmes including Master of Music, Master of Performance, and Postgraduate Diploma (Advance Studies) with two full scholarships opportunities available for applicants who display exceptional talent.
Applications should be made via UCAS Conservatoires in the first instance, followed by submission of an audition recording via Acceptdby 15 November 2020 or soon after. Your audition recording should include a 5 minute spoken introduction, 40 MINUTES of repertoire by way of a contrasting programme, and answers to a set of interview questions listed here.
