The First Competition of Composers of the Russia-Belarus Union, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in WW2, has been successfully completed. The event was the result of cooperation between Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and the State Music Academy of the Republic of Belarus.

An exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the Rachmaninoff Russian Conservatory in Paris opened in the foyer of the Conservatory’s Small Hall on 6 March 2025. The exhibition was organized by the Center of Russian Émigrés in cooperation with Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Russia’s National Museum of Music and the Rachmaninoff Russian Conservatory in Paris with the support of the Foundation of Russian Émigrés’ Heritage.

The stage performance of the music to Nestor Kukolnik’s drama “Prince Kholmsky” and the premiere of the orchestral version of the vocal cycle “Farewell to Petersburg,” both composed by Mikhail Glinka (1804–1857), took place on 29 October 2024 in the Rachmaninoff Hall in honor of the 220th anniversary of the Russian classical musician.

The traditional concert dedicated to the Birthday of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory was held in the Great Hall on 13 September 2024. The evening began with an awards ceremony. Outstanding alumni are honored with the Nikolai Rubinstein Gold Medal for their selfless service to the Moscow Conservatory, as well as for their contribution to the preservation of traditions and development of national artistic culture.
