A Meeting in Memory of Prof. Vera Dulova

Every September 30^th, on the commemoration day of the martyrs Vera, Nadezhda and Lyubov, the Moscow Conservatory holds an annual meeting in memory of Prof. Vera Dulova (1909–2000), an outstanding harpist and teacher, at the institution’s Conference Hall.

Presentation of Sergey Uvarov’s New Book

The Electroacoustic Music Center hosted a presentation of Sergei Uvarov’s book The Millennials’ Voice. The presentation included compositions by three of the twelve protagonists of the book: Alexander Khubeyev, Anna Pospelova, and Nikolai Popov; then a discussion followed.

The Moscow Conservatory’s Birthday in 2022

Anatoly Levin, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Moscow Conservatory Concert Symphony Orchestra, is on the Great Hall stage. Sergey Stadler, a professor of the Violin Department, is the soloist. The festive evening opened with the awarding ceremony of the Moscow Conservatory.

An introductory session on the course of IT in Music

A new course IT in Music was launched at the Moscow Conservatory. The Conducting Department students are going to learn the basics of content making and the principles of neural networks, as well as to master modern software. The course is to be taught by Ivan Starostin, Ph.D. in the History of Arts, a lecturer at the Departments of Music Theory and of IT.
