“Rachmaninov Day at the Moscow Conservatory”. Evening concert in the Great Hall

Russia’s State Academic Symphony Capella under the direction of Prof. Valery Polyansky, People’s Artist of Russia and with Prof. Andrey Pisarev, Honored Artist of Russia, as the solo pianist The program includes Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor and The Bells. The event was accompanied by a joint action of the Moscow Conservatory and Russia’s Post for the issue of an art stamp with an image of Rachmaninov.

Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition The Music of Machines

The exhibition The Music of Machines was prepared by the Center of Electroacoustic Music with the support of the Exeed car brand and opened at the Moscow Conservatory. The opening ceremony was featured by a lecture presented by the composer Olga Bochikhina and the journalist Irina Sevastyanova.

Anatoly Levin, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Moscow Conservatory Concert Symphony Orchestra, is on the Great Hall stage. Sergey Stadler, a professor of the Violin Department, is the soloist. The festive evening opened with the awarding ceremony of the Moscow Conservatory.
