1st Festival of Master Classes by Graduates of the Assistant Training Program "The Thread of Time"

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Assistant Training Program, the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory invites musicians to take part in a unique event—the 1st Festival of Master Classes by Graduates, "The Thread of Time." The festival will be held from January 25 to February 5, 2026, in the Myaskovsky Concert Hall and will serve as a living demonstration of the continuity of the Conservatory's legendary performance and pedagogical schools.

Eligible Participants:

Students of music schools, music colleges, and higher education institutions, assistant trainees, as well as teachers at all levels of music education.

Forms of Participation: Active, Passive, and Remote.

Specialties: Piano, Strings, Wind Instruments, Classical Voice, Chamber Ensemble, Collaborative Piano Art.

Application Deadline: December 1, 2025, to January 20, 2026, inclusive.

About the Festival:

This is a large-scale project that will bring together outstanding professors of the Moscow Conservatory and their talented students—graduates of the Assistant Training Program from various years. Participants will receive a priceless opportunity to engage with the traditions and innovative methods of the country's leading pedagogical schools. For teachers, a professional development program is available, culminating in the issuance of a Standard Certificate (72 academic hours) upon completion of the full course and final assessment.

Program and Finale:

The festival will be organized into sections, each dedicated to a specific instrument or musical discipline. The event will conclude on February 5, 2026, with a Gala Concert of the best participants in the Myaskovsky Hall.

How to Apply:

To apply, please send a completed application form to the Organizing Committee's email address by January 20, 2026. Participants applying for the Active form must specify a program of two contrasting pieces.
