Winners of the EXEED Stars Competition Announced

The finale of the EXEED Stars Competition for students of higher music educational institutions took place at the Small Hall of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory on 28 October 2024. The finalists’ and winners’ names were announced; diplomas and monetary certificates were awarded.

“The Workshop of Drosselmeyer, the Wizard”

The Lavrovskys Laboratories association presents an interactive performance “The Workshop of Drosselmeyer, the Wizard”: a ballet fairy tale, set to music by Tchaikovsky, will tell children the Nutcracker’s famous story. A group of ballet dancers, together with the Fiori musicali Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Klimenty Katenin, take part in the performance on the stage of the Rachmaninoff Hall.

The Premiere of Agafonnikov’s New-year Fairy-tale Opera Morozko

The premiere of Morozko, Professor Vladislav Agafonnikov’s fairy-tale opera based on a Russian folk tale plot, took place in the Moscow Conservatory’s Rachmaninoff Hall on 14 December 2023. The composer himself touchingly welcomed his young listeners with an opening speech.
