Moscow Conservatory
It is assumed that the most important and topical phenomena of today’s world music culture are going to be comprehended through an analysis of schools and trends of all its branches, such as scholarship, performing art and composition. The history of the Moscow Conservatory, with all its rich traditions, long-term and large-scale creative relations, may become a starting point for scholarly researches on the suggested subject, provided that the topics of the conference will not be focused on the Moscow Conservatory only.
It is planned to launch the work of several sections devoted to issues of various subjects: such as music theory, history, aesthetics and philosophy, as well as hermeneutics, semiotics, sociology, psychology, pedagogy and theory of musical content.
Special attention will be paid to the history and theory of performing art, as well as to various artistic and teaching schools, including not only Moscow and other conservatories and music institutions of Russia and the world but also educational institutions of all levels that form the system of uninterrupted music education.
The leading schools of the Moscow Conservatory and other Russian and foreign institutions will be introduced on master classes, lectures, workshops and open lessons to be given and taught by the leading performers, musicologists and teachers.

The application shall include:
- the topic of your speech;
- the abstract of your speech (800 characters maximum);
- your full name, place of work or study, position, title and scholarly degree (if any);
- your e-mail and contact phone number.
The registration fee is:
- for participants from Russia and the CIS countries — 500 rubles;
- for participants from foreign countries — 20 US dollars.
The Moscow Conservatory will not cover any expenses.
Members of the Music Theory Society are exempt from paying the registration fee.
The participants of the conference, as well as the listeners of lectures and master classes, will receive the respective certificates.
